How much space do you want back?

That is the first question KeepOtter asks. Not: what do you want to delete? From your goal, the app works out the shortest path: large videos first, then exact copies, old screenshots, series. Sorted by space per minute of decisions.

Why this one?

Every suggestion carries one of four levels. Always visible, always explained, never a gut feeling.

  1. Very safe

    Technically identical copy. Preselected, because nothing is lost.

  2. Probably redundant

    Same series, and a better shot exists. Suggested, with a note.

    Similar, but with visible differences. Never preselected.

KeepOtter never suggests the only photo of a day. Nor the only one with a location that week. Favorites, edited pictures and albums stay, and so do sensitive documents.

What is still hiding in screenshots

These 183 screenshots are probably no longer needed. 19 of them still held links, dates or codes. KeepOtter finds them before the screenshot goes.

Cleaning up is not a one-off. KeepOtter checks in when it is worth it. Everything can be switched off, nothing deletes on its own.

What happens when I delete with iCloud Photos turned on?
With iCloud Photos, deleted shots disappear on all your devices. For 30 days you can bring them back from “Recently Deleted”. KeepOtter reminds you of this before every run.
Why does KeepOtter not promise a fixed number of gigabytes when “Optimize iPhone Storage” is on?
With that setting, the originals live in iCloud and the iPhone often keeps only small versions. How much really frees up on the device is decided by iOS. So KeepOtter shows measured bytes only where the full file is on the iPhone and marks everything else as an estimate.
Which devices does KeepOtter run on?
iPhone with iOS 26 or later. The analysis runs entirely on the device, which is why there is no web version.
What happens to my photos and data?
Nothing leaves your iPhone. KeepOtter reads your library only to recognize copies, series and screenshots. It makes no copies, uploads nothing and has no server. That is why the App Store label says “Data Not Collected”.
Does KeepOtter delete anything on its own?
No. Every run ends with your confirmation, and iOS asks once more. Only technically identical copies are preselected, and you see those first.
How is KeepOtter different from cleaner apps with weekly subscriptions?
